Financial Policy

Patient Billing

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Before treatment is performed, we will gladly discuss treatment and financial options. This will allow you to fully understand your dental treatment, what to anticipate in fees and allow you time to make the necessary financial arrangements. It is your responsibility to ask us question if you do not completely understand our treatment recommendations and the associated cost.

For our patients with Insurance:

Insurance benefits are determined by your employer, not your dentist. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. Your insurance coverage, and benefits is your responsibility. Insurance is not a guarantee of payment; it often does not cover all the costs involved in treatment. As a courtesy, we will be happy to file your claim for you if you present your dental insurance card and all required information. You will be expected to pay for services rendered if this office is unable to verify your insurance information or claim rejection.

Any deductible or estimated co-payment amount will be due at the time of treatment. In general, there is a yearly maximum to which your insurance will pay out. Please note insurance plans usually have limitation to the frequency a service could be performed. It is your responsibility to know frequency limitations, yearly maximums or service coverages of your plan. If any of these limitations are reached, regardless if at our office or other dental facility, your treatment cost becomes completely your responsibility.

If payment for services already rendered has not been paid in full within 60 days, either by you or your insurance company, the remaining balance for your treatment is considered due and must be paid by you within 30 days.

Minor Patients

The adult accompanying a minor and/or the parents (or guardians) are responsible for full payment at the time of service. For unaccompanied minors, non-emergency treatment will be denied unless charges have been pre- authorized to an approved credit plan, credit card, or payment by cash or check at time of service has been verified.

Payment Plans

Homestead Dental, Inc. has partnered with Care Credit, a patient financing company, to offer our patients 0% interest financing for 3, 6, or 12 months with credit approval. No in-office payment plans are available.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at Homestead Dental Phone Number 305-248-0027. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
